The food bank provides food to people in need and also has free meal programs.

Anyone can use this program.

How do I use this program? Do I need a referral?

The food bank is open to anyone in need and operates from 1 to 4 PM, Monday to Friday.  In addition the Salvation Army offers free meals programs for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Friday.

What services are offered?

In Williams Lake, The Salvation Army operates a food bank for people who need food.  Food banks are not run by the government.  People in the community donate the food.  If you want to donate food, there are boxes in many food stores, churches and other places.  For information about food banks in BC visit:
