Program Description

A non-profit, volunteer-based program that provides a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at an affordable price.

Who can use this program?

The Good Food Box program is available to everyone.  There are no restrictions on who can purchase a Good Food Box… in fact, the more Good Food Boxes sold, the greater the purchasing power the program has.

How do I use this program? Do I need a referral?

Boxes are $15 each, and can be purchased at Canadian Mental Health Association, Pregnancy Outreach Program, and the Women’s Contact Society. The deadline to purchase a box is the Wednesday before distribution day by 2:00PM.

Distribution day of the Good Food Box is the 3rd Monday of every month. Boxes must be picked up between 1 – 3:00PM at the Elks Hall.

What services are offered?

Produce is purchased in bulk amounts at wholesale prices to ensure you are receiving the most for your money. Each Good Food Box contains a variety of fruits and vegetables such as carrots, broccoli, romaine lettuce, celery, onions, potatoes, apples, bananas, oranges etc.
