Program Description

CYMH is a program under the Ministry of Child and Family Development. Clinicians will work with children, youth and their families to promote health and wellness for those suffering from a diagnosable mental health disorder.

Who can use this program?

Children and youth 18 years  of age and younger and their families. Participation is on a voluntary basis.

How do I use this program? Do I need a referral?

No referral is required to utilize this program.  Every Thursday morning CYMH offers a drop-in clinic where clinicians will do an intake assessment, and determine your child’s needs and book them an appointment accordingly.

Services are delivered in a variety of settings depending on the needs of  the child and family. Delivery methods include:

  • Group therapy
